Some of our Projects

​Dewa Consulting has delivered on a number of Management Consulting projects both as a sub contractor and principal contractor. The range of projects cuts across the entire Enterprise Architecture, ranging from Strategy formulation to IT Infrastructure Project Management. 

The following are some of our flagship projects:

Sub Contract Projects:

1. Mineworkers Provident Fund: Project Managed the transition of a pension fund administration from an outsource model to an autonomous self administration fund. The project was delivered in 5 main streams, namely Organisational Design, Business Process Management, Information Technology, Legal and Facilities Management.  

 

2. Consumer Goods Council of South Africa: Delivered a number of projects, which included:

  • ICT Strategy Planning

  • Business Process Mapping (Finance and SCM)

  • Disaster Recovery Planning

  • PMO Establishment

Project 01

 

 

Job Descriptions: Mbombela Local Municipality:​

 

The local municipality required services of a consulting company to assist with the development of all job descriptions for its entire manpower. The project entailed the assessment and gap analysis of each job description followed by revised and appropriate job descriptions.

While the original scope was meant to include the Evaluation of the job grading using TASK, this was eventually excluded from the project.

Project 02

 

 

Transition Project: Collaborative Africa Budget Reform Initiative (CABRI):​

CABRI was originally formed as part of National Treasury. A decision was made for CABRI to transition into an autonomous organisation that had its own strategy, organisational structure, business processes, IT systems and offices.

Dewa Consulting was appointed to assist with the full transition. The project was delivered in the same format as the MPF Transition project.

Project 03

 

 

Data Cleansing: Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA):​

As part of SEDA's Customer Relationship Management system implementation plan, there was a need for the cleanup of the data prior to its upload to the new system.

 

Dewa Consulting was appointed to deliver on this critical mandate, which entailed error checking,error detection, data validation, data cleansing and scrubbing using ETL processes.
